ATTENTION: Help Us Shape the Future

Volunteer for Millennium’s Innovative Mentoring Experience (M.I.M.E.)

Dear Community Member/Neighbor/Supporter,

I hope this message finds you well. As we begin the new school year, we are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for our community to come together in support of the young minds at Millennium Middle School. We are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our M.I.M.E. (Millennium's Innovative Mentoring Experience) program, an academic intervention prevention initiative designed to guide and inspire our middle school students.

What is M.I.M.E.?

M.I.M.E. is a unique program aimed at providing academic support and personal development opportunities for students who are in need of additional guidance. Our goal is to foster an environment where every student can thrive academically and personally through the support of positive, encouraging mentors from our community.

How Can You Help?

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to mentor our students. As a mentor, you will:

  • Provide Guidance: Offer academic assistance and support in various subjects.

  • Inspire Confidence: Help students build self-esteem and develop effective study habits.

  • Be a Role Model: Share your experiences and insights to motivate and encourage students.

  • Foster Growth: Support students in setting and achieving personal and academic goals.

Why Volunteer?

By volunteering with M.I.M.E., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of young students. Your involvement will not only impact their academic success but also contribute to their overall well-being and confidence. Mentoring is a rewarding experience that offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our community.

How to Get Involved:

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, you must first be a member of our Dividends Volunteer Program by filling out a volunteer application at Millennium. Please note that Seminole County will require all adult mentors on campus to be vetted via fingerprinting for student safety.  Additionally, we will provide all necessary training and support to ensure that you are well-prepared to make a positive impact.  Please take a moment to complete the following google form if you would like to be considered for the M.I.M.E. mentorship program: https://forms.gle/dpiV6eW2KCS8RtDfA

Thank you for considering this opportunity to give back to our community. Together, we can help our students achieve their full potential and make a lasting difference in their lives.

Warm regards,

Robbin Howard
